Pet Waste Stations

The Board of Directors of Friends of Lafayette Park is considering a plan to install two pet waste stations at the park. The hope is to encourage more dog owners to clean up after their pets and to prevent overflow of the existing trash cans. We are working with the vendor to determine the most effective locations. The waste stations would be emptied and monitored by a private firm on a regular basis. Frequency will start at once per week and be monitored and adjusted as needed. The units are sealed which will help with odors. Any thoughts or comments? We’d love to hear from you. Click here to send a comment.
